Given how long oil paint layers take to dry, I am aiming to always have 2-3 paintings in process so that I am never waiting for one to dry.
I have therefore started this new painting whilst exploring interconnectedness. Above are the conceptual drawings/plans – this painting is less on the ‘not-knowing’ side in that I have done a fair amount of pre-planning of the shapes and colours. I am exploring Sacred Geometry with this somewhat stylised Metatron’s Cube (inaccurately drawn), with one of the Platonic solids floating.
