The Science behind stardust and star deaths. When a star dies through a supernova explosion, it expels dust into its surroundings. This dust contains various elements found on our Periodic Table – this is how the elements ended up on earth – we forget that earth is yet another body in space.
The dust is then taken up to become the next generation of stars/moons/planets etc.
